I think it depends on the store. I've heard people say their Walmart won't take them, while others use them at Walmart all the time. I'd try it before I gave up, anyway.

My Walmart is not nice. I always get the cashiers who don't like how slow I am unloading my cart. I'm slow because I am handicapped and because I have severe arthritis.

It doesn't do much good to complain about the cashiers at Customer Service either.

That's one reason I like Harris Teeter. The cashier unloads the cart for you. They do that for everyone.

I read the ads in the flyers and I make up my list. I actually have found that the other stores have better deals than Walmart if you catch the sales right plus you have coupons.

Oh, I would so much rather do without than spend my hard-earned money at a place that doesn't appreciate it. Sales from the friendly, cart-unloading IGA's can be much better, I agree!

jennyln, I think coupons from sources other than the sunday flyers are great. It adds excitement to the coupon train. As of yet I haven't gotten a train started but will post right now for a west coast train. I have a ton of coupons to share. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions.
