Veto-proof increase in Federal Food Stamps budget

Dear All, The US House of Representatives has paSsed, & the Senate is due (by all accounts) to pass, by veto-proof margins (3 to 1), a new Farm Bill.  The chief aspect of this bill is that it increases commodity programs & Food Stamps eligibility.  Yours in Him, Deb

With the cost of food going up, I should think there is a great need to raise food stamps. Also, income standards change when COL shoots up as the same amount last year doesn't go as far this year.
