I have to work today. May have to take dd back to doactor as her mono is rearing up again- her eyes have a yellowish tint to t hem. Not a true yellow but yellow nonetheless.

All meals today will be from home. If I have time I will be hanging up a load on the line in the basement. Havent had too many days to hang stuff up outside. We're either rainy and cold  or rainy or foggy. Hubby said I could spend the $30 and get the retractable clothesline(with 5 lines)at Menards. I will do that on Friday when we go uptown.

I handwash all of our dishes -dont have a working dw so that is ok with me- and its faster and cheaper.

Dear All, I'm going to check out Cala/Ralphs/Kroger, to see whether they are still pricing Monringstar Farms products @ $1 off.  I have a 75cents coupon (to be doubled).

Yesterday, I completed the Chapter Outline for the new & revamped book (tentatively entitled:  MIND, MONEY, AND SPIRIT:  Simple Living as Key to Recovering from Major Mental Illness).  It covers healing traditions (Christian, Jewish, & Buddhist), & living simply (frugality, the income side, expenses for recovery, & being a good steward).  My next task is to place all of my notes into the respective 10 chapter files.

The book was simply too unwieldy when we included Medical Aspects ....

I don't believe that I told you already that I didn't buy anythign at Goodwill yesterday.  I was looking for moccasins/slippers, but their prices STARTED at $5.50.  I can purchse NEW footwear from Blair.com Clearance for those prices.

Have a good day, everyone! Yours in Him, Deb

Today I'm going to wash the laundry that I brought in from storage on Sunday and hang it out to dry, make cheese and try to catch up on the correspondence that I got behind on while I was taking my class. Ds#3 is cooking sausage tonight and I'm going to have to remind him that the meat has to last a year we only got 16 lbs this year and the way we're going through it we'll run out in 3 mos.

It's a beautiful day here today! We are heading to Lowe's later to get supplies to make our own repairs at home. Today my jobs are very early morning (already done) and late afternoon through evening, so the middle of the day is mine to clean, write and go into town with my husband. enjoy! - pam

Not leaving the house today for anything:

    • Take down the clothes washed Sunday that are hanging up.
    • Wash dishes by hand and put away what was washed in dishwasher.
    • Get things ready for my errands to be run tomorrow: paperwork for my food stamp review, train ticket confirmation, coupons for grocery shopping and make sure the list is complete.
    • Take computer monitor (freecycle item posted for sis) out of car... along with empty gas can that has been rolling every corner I turn (in trunk = empty).

Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
    1 Samuel 12:24
But be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.

Today I applied for several jobs on line.  Several are very part time but would bring in some extra cash and work with my schedule.  Did apply for one full time one that would be a commute but may be a good career move.

Worked yesterday so getting caught up on paperwork from that.

Doing some much needed cleaning.  I let several leftovers go bad in the fridge so needed to deal with that.  Hung a load of laundry.   Need to think of something for dinner.

Staying home with gas being so high!

Paying bills today, and will need to run to the post office in a little while. I also have laundry going; got a late start on it today, because I volunteered at the school this morning. I also had to order flowers for a funeral. Not sure if Brian will be going to calling hours tonight (the wife of a guy he's worked with before passed away yesterday), as it will be at least a 3 hour drive-one way. I think I might stop at the little drug store in town and pick up a sympathy card, before I head back home. I need to throw the pork roast in the crock pot and set it on low, and let it cook all night long. I'll do that this evening, and then shred it all up tomorrow for sandwiches for tomorrow's supper. I think we might have grilled chicken, corn on the cob, and potatoes for supper tonight. It's a beautiful day today, the only one we're expected to have this week, so once the kids get home and get their homework done, we'll probably be outside the rest of the evening.

I received a $20 gift card for Mother's Day from my youngest daughter.  I also had an internet coupon from: www.customercare@lowes.com for $10 off $25 purchase if you use VISA.  Well, I went to Lowe's this AM and I DID NOT have to use VISA; just paid cash for my out-of-pocket costs!  I save $30 on a $65 total!

WooHoo!  Instead of cut flowers, my kids give me either plants to be planted in the yard or a gift card for me to choose plants for my yard.  I love it, 'cause my yard is FULL of blooming GIFTS!  Miss Paula in Texas

Pouring rain all day here. summer is suppose to hit with a blast friday.

The kids went to school today and my mom phd to see if I could bring her to value village (seniors day) so we did that while the kids were at school. also dropped off library book and bought free range eggs and brown sugar at Galloways near the library.  deli next door sells monster sandwiches for $4.99 so got one to split between the guys tomorrow for lunch. plus a couple of yummy Nanamio bars for me.

DD had an appt with the doctor for her age 5 booster shot. great doctor, dd did very good.  all meals at home today.   made bacon and eggs for dinner and dh worked late so he had a leftover hamburger from last night.   made a yummy chocolate cake w/icing  from a mystery novel. so good hot.  dd caught me sneaking bits when cooking. lol.

did some cleaning. decluttered the baby toys I had saved bunch for the church group and a bunch for selling at the swap meet.  our student got his wallet stolen during gym class so that wasn't good.  a problem at the school.
