I don't eat a lot of corn, but I will eat just about any kind except creamed. I prefer fresh or frozen, but canned is ok too, just don't eat a lot of it.

Dear All, Safeway has "on sale" corn-on-the-cob 5/$2, which is exactly double the usual price (in other years)....  Yours in Him, Deb

Dear All, Although I complained last week about the 5 ears of corn price of $2 at Safeway, Cala/Ralphs/Kroger has on loss-leader thius week 5 ears/$1, which is much more reasonable.  Yours in Him, Deb

i have no corn in my house currently....we had the last of it (birdseye steamfresh for i think it was 65 cents a bag after my coupons?) with dinner the other day, one of those bags is dinner for us 4, and then a side for lunch the next day or 5 meals from one bag of corn

i dont really like corn(except those baby corns in a can i LOVE those!) but we usually have a few cans of corn(creamed is just gross so i dont know if anyone else in my house likes it cause i think it looks so nasty i wont buy it and i have horrid memories of my stepmother forcing me to eat it now thinking of it i have an icky taste in my mouth)

i think canned corn here runs between 2/1.00 and 1.29 a can, while bagged is from 1.00 to 3.00

i only buy fresh corn when its at least 5/1.00(no safeway here deb otherwise i would get some!)

Safeway here had corn on the cob for 8 for $4  but iga was cheaper peaches and corn in the cob was 6 for 1.89.   corn hasn't been as cheap as previous years though lots of corn is grown here. but not corn season for a couple of months yet.
