Gas for premium here in California 5.35 and doesn't seem to be getting better.  The thing is if it goes down to 5.00 a gallon people will run to fill up thinking they are getting a bargain.  I hope many of us learn that if we keep giving in everything else will become costly too.

Off the subject a bit here. Here in California many nice popular restaurants are starting to charge for parking in their lots this isn't even valet parking. Imagine that you are giving your business to them and now they are also charging you to park in their lots!  I said, "no thanks i'll go where someone is serious about keeping their customers." The waitress said, "well looks like that's your problem!"  We need to look at reality here. We keep giving in.

    Hoping for peace,

    Justice

Wow, that is too much!  What part of california and what rest.?  I won't be going there!

Gas here stableized the last few weeks at 4.65 for regular and today I noticed it dropped to 4.63.  I am hoping that it doesn't go back up by tomorrow, so I can gas up at a 2 cent a gallan savings!  Ugh!

Its all just too weird, but I was totally shocked they didn't gouge for the holiday weekend last!  ;-)

Took off ticker, because it's too depressing.
I will keep you posted when I can start making a dent. Right now, just trying to stay afloat!

In NW WI it is $4.16/g  here. I  am frustrated and have continued my driving limits.I only drive when I have to and then try to lump multiple things in a trip.

I have to go to town today can report gas changes again.

Actually, around here it's dropped between 8 and 10 cents. Was $4.09/gallon last week, this morning was $3.99.

Hope it's a trend, but I doubt it.

Pay to park in the restaurant's parking lot? I DON'T THINK SO!

    Hi!

I wish we were in your position! Our gas price is about $ 10,- a gallon, and rising on a daily base!  So we do most of our shopping etc. by bike, long distances by train if possible. Unfortunately in the Netherlands it is the wettest summer since ages, so sometimes we have to use the car just to keep dry. But despite the high prices our roads are cluttered with traffic jams!
