    Gas prices vary because of many reasons. Where the gas is refined, formulation requirements for a particular area, state, city and county taxes, cost of delivery, marketing costs, retailer costs and profits all make an impact.  Costs in every place are different and thety don't always match up with cost of living in an area.

     It is running $4.25 here today...hubby heard diesel is going to hit $6 a gallon by the end of next week...geesh!

    That's what it is here as well. Diesel is $4.79 here. I havent gone uptown yet today so I can check back later.
