    Buying a Dehydrator

We're considering getting a new dehydrator. I've seen the table top versions and professional grades. There is only the two of us and we eat a lot of soups and stews and such. Any recommendations? Advice?

We bought a Nesco dehydrator at Walmart and we love it. We are a family of seven and we used it to make snacks for vacation.

My dh loves to experiment with it. We have success with beef jerky, pears, apples and even homemade raisins that taste better than any I have bought in the store.

I believe it sells for around $40 and it was well worth the price.

     Hope this helps.
