    Re: May Debt Check-in

    Okay, for May. Lets see,

$378 pays off a rolled in debt(bunch of debts with one payment)LAST PAYMENT

    $117- medical bill

    $132- old bill

    79- old bill

335.- car payment- already paid- owe9500ish

Paying the three old bills will help clean up our credit report so we may be able to reapply for loans for the house.

Thats all I can think of right now will check in again later.

WOOOHOOOOO! Just made the last payment on a big debt- it was 2500.00 of miscellaneous bills.

    So that  was :

    $365.22

    paid 153 cell phones

    paid 84  for satellite

36 for two months of garbage

Still have to pay 117 for a medical bill.

Going to try to squeeze out that and maybe another bill if I'm good.

    Re: May Debt Check-in

I am checking in.  I will try to post some stats as soon as I can.  I am working with someone who is helping me put together a budget, they are a workmate and busy AND doing it for free.  I am eager to see it, but I can't rush them.  ;-(

Congrats on your last payment!!!!!  What a relief huh?

Took off ticker, because it's too depressing.
I will keep you posted when I can start making a dent. Right now, just trying to stay afloat!

In a holding pattern. We are getting a paper check for our rebate check ($1800) so still waiting. We got the credit card bill and have exactly $1300 left to pay off. Yea! If it's due before we get our check, we will pay what we can out of our budget ($500 or more) and then write the check for the rest (0% interest) and mail it in when we can. The rest of the rebate check is going into savings.

Congratulations on being debt free.  I don't think I will ever be that way, but I aim to keep it from getting any worse!

    For May . . .

original goal was to pay at least $902 to debt (car and credit cards) this month.  We paid $957.00.  As always, not quite as much as I hoped, but still some progress!

Still have a long long way to go!
