I can't use it because of dh allergies but I prefer white pasta.  Most of is enriched.   I like whole grains just not pasta :)  I figure if the Italians still use it, why not lol. haven't seen whole wheat pasta in the Italian delis.

I'm the same Martha!  I have tried whole wheat pasta several times and just can't get myself to like it.  I love whole grains normally though; brown rice, wheat bread, etc.  For some reason, though, pasta is just not one I have been able to like if whole grain.  I like the real/imported Italian brands too, though those are sometimes really pricey.

DH likes the whole wheat pasta and DS doesn't seem to mind; I'm the one who can't adjust!  Though I do agree it is better for you; we eat pasta 1 or 2 times/week and I am sure the whole wheat would be a health benefit for us.

Different brands are definetly different!!! I like Eddie's. We use a lot of brown rice pasta and Tinkyada is the very best brand. Its more expensive than whole wheat though. We use it because DS has gluten allergies. If one chooses to eat a more healthy version of pasta, your taste buds do adjust.  It has been said that "we don't eat what we like, we like what we eat". In other words, if you keep eating it, you will soon like it. Wink
