Free food and household items were great today, at a free food site-
Here is what I got-
got at least $250
worth of stuff- including a 66 piece sample tasting box of Godiva
pumpkin truffles, an Oral-B electric toothbrush, 4-4 packs of
"nutrition soda," four bags of trendy flavored popcorn, two big grocery
bags 1/2 full of Double Bubble gum, a ceramic pasta dish, nutrisystem
food and snacks, four packs of peppercorn and garlic hummus, 5 boxes of
crackers-4 Zesta and one family size Triscuit, 12 good quality Giilette men's disposable razors, soap, 4 body wash,
2 shampoo, Scope, 2 dental floss, candy corn, 2 loaves nice bread, pickles, 10 cans of
tomatoes, two toothpaste, four giant bags of Malt-O- Meal Colossal
Crunch, 10 lbs of parmesean peppercorn rotessiere seasoning-which I hope tastes good on potatoes as we are vegetarian, two bags of Japanese style bread crumbs, hair spray and Kan-dos wipes for kids.
So far this month I've spent about $90, I think, and with the deals at Walgreens this week and this food I am sure we'll make our $300. I literally had a grocery cart full of goods I could not have ever afforded, I am very grateful to the companies and the food bank and the church. The kids had a high sugar dinner, we had truffles and cereal and crackers and hummus!
Staying on track!
