    Re: stimulus check

Our newspaper had the wrong info then, because May 9 is the original date of deposit, but in the article they said the schedule had been moved up to this Friday, May 2. But no deposit yet so it looks like it will be May 9. Thanks, Brandy. Edey

    elovestea.

They are saying it should be deposited by May 9th...so any day between now and then, I would think.

    Re: stimulus check

I saw a new updated payment schedule and for the life of me I can't find it now. Super Angry  BUT I do remember that it stated since the payments were going 4 days earlier than expected thereby pushing up all other payment schedules.

So....if you're waiting for a paper check, just look at the IRS website payment schedule and if they have for instance a payment schedule for SS# ending in 17, your check should be mailed out May 16th.

HOWEVER, I've been reading on the IRS website that they have a NEW system this year to where they can send out payments everyday instead of once a week.  Meaning you could possibly get your payments sooner than expected.

    Here's hoping! Big Smile

Brandy, the one I posted above yours was also from the IRS.  I'm not sure why it's not on their website and unfortunately I have the link at home on my computer.  I'm at work right now.  It'll be interesting to see when we really do get our money.

    Re: stimulus check

Don't quote me on this but I suspect the IRS changed the wording when the payments drug into original pay shcedule dates last week. The news I read on updated schedules had folks who were due a payment on the 9th expecting their payments today but now I am seeing starting on the 5th but by the 9th.

    Re: stimulus check

Our number is 75 and we got our check today, May 7, two days early from original schedule. It was a "pending transaction" yesterday at our credit union and deposited in our account this morning. Edey
