    IRS admits to security failures

And just as everyone was going "whew" over having done their taxes, the IRS goes and pours sewer water into our morning joe. Sorry, I wasn't sure if I should've put it into tax subforum, but I was in an outrage, so I figured it'd be ok here.

     http://blog.trustedid.com/?p=591

"In a new report, the Treasury Department’s Inspector General (TIGTA) found that, “the IRS has not placed sufficient emphasis on employment-related and tax fraud identity theft strategies.”

Ugh. How are we supposed to stretch our dollars if the government keeps misplacing them? Maybe I'll get meself an IDFreeze...
