    Re: Potatoes $5 a bag?

Went to get a bag of baking potatoes for our w/a dinner.  My dh likes the big ones.  They usually run $4.99 for 8 lbs. and they make several meals. When I reached for them I saw the price had gone up to $7.99 per bag.  Needless to say they are still on the shelf.  I tried to get 2 oranges and when I put them on the scale it was $2.79 for 2 oranges.  They are still on the shelf too.  I noticed when I put them back that some of the oranges on the lower shelf had fuzz growing on them so I took notice and the strawberries and kiwi's were molded also.  I guess I was'nt the only one leaving fruit on the shelves.
