Yep, you can sell a certain amount of raw goats milk in NH.  You also don't have to wear a seatbelt at all if you're over 18, and no helmets for motorcycles.  The official state motto is "Live Free or Die" for a reason, I guess LOL.

I thinking I'm moving to your state.....gas is cheaper too!

Yep Babs, you're absolutely right.  If you own your car free and clear you aren't required to carry any type of car insurance in NH, not even liability.

Bananas for .69/lb (Shaws, Aldi is .49), eggs 1.49 (Shaws sale - 1.29 at Aldi right now), Milk from Aldi is 1.99 (new store so might be a gimmick) -elsewhere I think it's at least 3.99.  That's in CT

Its $5 for a 3lb bag here at the base commissary in Okinawa :( $4/lb for apples, $1/lb for bananas. $7/gal for milk and $3/dozen for eggs. We get WIC for the milk and eggs, which helps at least but the produce prices are killing me :( I want to feed my kids healthy meals, but its hard seeing an ever growing food bill. Plus there's no such things as generics in a commissary. They're only allowed to make up prices a certain percentage, but they don't carry generic brands. Because of the limit on price mark ups it tends to bring the name-brands closer to generic prices, but even with coupons its not quite there yet.

Donna, we're in Dover, a little north of Portsmouth on the seacoast.

Hehe Michelle....well NH does have its benefits.  No state income tax or sales tax either--but they do make it up in property & entertainment (restaurant meals) tax.

FYI-we carry car insurance though.  If something were to happen (G-d forbid) and there were medical costs you don't have insurance to fall back on to pay for it if you're at fault. Its all you, and I know we don't have that kinda of money laying around.  If the economy keeps going the way it is though, we may just need to drop it for a bit until things improve and cross our fingers. I hate to do it, but its one less bill.

I agrree; I'd carry some insurance too. But it's just nice to leave it up to the individual to accept responsibilty for themselves.
