    May Day Baskets

Make a May Day Basket. May Day is only 9 days away. This is a simple project that kids can do too.

This is a simple project to lift your spirits. It was tradtional to put May Day baskets on doorknobs of friends on May 1, baskets filled with flowers and handmade goodies. The instructions say to use leftover wall paper border but you could use pretty fabric, a doily, or lace. You can be very imaginative in your creation.

    Have fun and enjoy.

    Re: May Day Baskets

Thanks, Edey! I love May Day and I know we can do it frugally. Last year, we popped popcorn, used M&Ms and stuck a pipe-cleaner flower in each cup. DS decorated the cups with stickers that we had at home and we had fun delivering them.
