It depends upon the circumstances. I prefer the crock pot, because on Sundays we travel about 70 miles round trip to and from church. We are away from home about five hours, and very hungry when we arrive. With the crock pot cooking the main entree, we are able to sit down to a traditional Sunday meal. I don't think that most of the meals would work for someone to be gone for much more time then that. Except for beans, most meats cook within three to five hours. Soups would work, but as I had mentioned in another post, they crock pots are too small for our soup eating family.
I haven't used the pressure cooker for many years. After you prepped the meal, brought it to rocking, timed it, quickly briought the temperature down to open it and then finished preparing the meal, I didn't think it was worth the bother. My mother always thought it was great, but I could make another meal choice in approximately the same time. I have a selection of quick "emergency meals" that take even less time.
In the end, it depends upon your meal choices, cooking styles, and time.
