    Total Debt:  $2,668.68

$313.32 paid to truck loan today

    Balance total: $2,355.36

We owe $939.96 on the truck! We were supposed to pay this off in a lump sum but have been dealing with unexpected things so hopefully we can still pay off early.

    Re: April Debt Check In

Okay. We have paid $250 in debt( 200 to a debt and 50 for a cc)

We have been turned down by every  bank broker out there- still waiting to hear back from 1 company- about the house. I did talk to my bank in the forclosure dept. and they said that we are only 9 days late( with 65,567.oo) so they wont send out a default notice until we are 60 days late and a forclosure notice wont be sent out until we are 90 days late. H e said it wont matter if we pay our monthly bill or not since thats not the payment price. So dh thinks we should clean up debt, fix up the house and retry some of the banks in 40-50 days. I say we should put in savings ,fix up the house and put it up for sale and move. So we are at odds but he is waiting to hear back from that group. It is a Christian group called the Blue Knights that help with loans and things. So we will see.

Ds is better and going to school,  now DD has been diagnosed with mono.[:'(]. Doctor told her to stop kissing her brother. She was not happy with that comment.

All in all I have to say that it's in Gods hands and He has a plan. What is meant to be will be. So long as we are all together and healthy and happy then we will be fine.

    Anne-

Sorry that things are up in the air!  Hope that you can find a program, is there an FHA program you can use?   Goggle that an WI, see if there's anything for you.

I'm hoping to pay a little on medical debt tomorrow, not included in my debt totals.  Dentist copays close to $600.

Thank You. Here is the update. We are losing the house and will have to move. We have been turned down by everyone out there. We are looking at the bright side of this.

    1. We are all together.

    2. We will be able to pay off debt and streamline things more.

    3. We will move into town so it will be cheaper to run errands.

    3. We wont have to pay property taxes.

We are looking at moving by June 1st. We are also going to try and sell the house. We are in a situation where we can either curl up and scream and kick or we can pick ourselves up, dust off and move on. We decided that we would accept what will be because it is part of Gods plan.Even if I dont know what that is yet.

Credit card is at $909.  I should have $100 coming in from a job soon to put on it and another $50 regular payment.  This is also where my rebate check is going.

Anne, can you find other accomodations that are cheaper than the house?

    Re: April Debt Check In

We are looking in town for a house to rent.We may break even on what we're currently paying(lumping in both payments, taxes, upkeep, utilities). But we will use less gas- there are buses in town. Also there are more "packages" available such as cable instead of satellite, phone companies, and rummage sales. We are going to take our time as we have no official paperwork yet- not even a 60 day notice yet. So we have decided to use this time to bulk up savings, pay off a couple items and really sort through things and scale down our belongings while we pack. The kids are coming around to this.

My ds is liking the idea more because he will be able to find a part time job that is in walking or bus ride of the house.DD is warming to it. Not totally there yet.

Dh says he would rather live in an apartment in a good neighborhood than rent a house in a bad area. Since he is a police officer he knows where the homes are that there is alot of contact with- putting it politely.

I understand. We ended up selecting a home based on the area and were willing to change our want list and the amount we paid to get into more desirable and safer neighborhoods.

Oh Anne I'm so sorry to hear all your troubles. I know you and I would get along - I get down about stuff then just look around for something positive - it's hard sometimes and I do whine a lot, ha, but by reaching inside we can change our perception of where we are and how we are going to move on. best during this time of change.

We managed to pay off some debt this month but then had some unexpected truck repairs and vet bills, so ....next month will be here soon and we can start fresh. I did get another additional job which will pay for home repairs over the next two years so that will help us put more to debt .

    hugs, Pam
