    Question about Walgreens Register Rewards

Recently started shopping at Walgreens. Last night, I got two $4.00 coupons from purchases. Good buys. 6 bars of soap for $4 then you got a $4 coupon to use at Walgreens. Same with DD shampoo. 3 for $10 but you got a $4 coupon . My question can you use both of these on a single purchase or do you have to make two separate purchases?  I know some of you have talked about shopping a Walgreens. Thanks for the info. Babs

Re: Question about Walgreens Register Rewards

For the Walgreen's Register Rewards, you can use them just like cash on your next purchase (or on your next transaction)! You can combine them and use them for whatever you want (though your best bet is to use them for something that will earn you more Register Rewards).

As someone who just discovered the great deals at CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid, I am estatic about these places! I have been stopping at at least one pharmacy every evening after work for about 2 weeks now, stocking up on items. At first it was hard to figure out how to get the best deals, but once I did I am sooooo HOOKED! It takes a lot of organization and planning (your shopping trips) to get the best deals, but once you figure out how to combine store sales, manf. coupons, store coupons, reward programs, etc. it's so addictive. Most items I have been buying I get for FREE and some items they are even paying me to buy them! It's crazy... I have no idea how these places make money!!!!

So far, though, my favorite is CVS. They have the best program, I think, with their Extra Bucks. Plus, I find that CVS is generally easier to deal with.

Well, have fun shopping! I am stocked up on enough toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, dishwashing liquid, shaving cream, razors, etc. to last me 6 months! And I have only been shopping these stores for 2 weeks!!!!!

    God bless,

    Julie

    You are welcomed!

I don't like Rite Aid as much because I dont like fooling with rebates. But, if you don't mind, they really do have great deals.

Well, you sure are missing out on the CVS! They are defintely the easiest, I think.

    Have a great weekend!

Re: Question about Walgreens Register Rewards

Our Brooks became a Rite Aide recently. WE have had nothing but problems. The Pharmacy has gone down hill. Everyone quit and they cant get help. I am considering changing our meds to Walgreens too. I did do a Rite Aid rebate during Christmas. It came quick and was nice. The kids bought DF a present , I found the reciept and got the rebate. Good deal for me.lol Babs
