What a nice surprise, I didn't know that you were a member of this site ( I am new here).  I really enjoyed the book.  I agree with most of the book,  although I do LOVE my coupons.  It's nice to see you on the board. Brenda

Thanks Brenda.  Glad you liked the book, and, OK, keep your coupons!  It's mostly just that I'm not organized enough to use coupons effectively (my fault), so I focus on ways anyone can maximize savings when you just walk into a store unprepared (e.g. looking for foods - usually store specials - that cost uner $1 a pound).

Jeff, I too love your book.  I have it, and read it several times.  Love your common sense ideas and your sense of humor.  It's funny I came across this thread, as the book is laying on the couch because I had planned to start re-reading tonight.  Thanks so much.
