I have been looking through these posts all weekend. I'm loving all the advice and have posted a couple of times. I'd like to join your debt reduction section. Here is the break down for my debt.
Credit Card 2000.00 (500.00 monthly) (should have it paid off in 3/4 months if I can keep up my good work then I'll swith to pay off the van early) (Tax rebate will help pay this off early) We tend to go in cycles use CC then pay off then use them and then pay off....I'm hoping to break that cycle...using the advice from these boards and my new motivation to be debt free including the house in the shortest amount of time possible...but have to balance DH desire for things...vacations/out to eat....trying to cut back.
Van $8,522.80 (monthly payments 467.00) (payments for the next year and a half unless I can get it paid early)
House $ 137,092.43 (monthly payments 1310.00) (30 year fixed mortgage 2years into home..would like to start working to pay it down early)
Medical 377.00 (will pay it next month...might have to reduce the amount going on CC next month...baby was well worth it though)
We do contribute to our retirement accounts and to childrens college fund.
