Yeah, I got some white tissue paper after Christmas that was on sale for like 25 cents or something. I bought several packs to put in my wrapping box. That's a pet peeve of mine: I refuse to spend any significant amount of money on wrapping. I re-use bags and pick up things when I find them on sale. The white tissue paper can be used for any occasion. It was a great find for me.

This is the place that I buy all of my daughters preschool teaching books. I have seen the same exact books at Staples for alot more.

There are a lot of great kid's books at dollar stores. I recently bought my niece, who just turned 1, a couple of those chunky board books for babies and there are, as you say, lots of books that teach numbers, shapes, etc. There are classics, like Huckleberry Finn, for older kids and puzzle books for people who like crosswords and word search. In short, something for everyone.

I got a nice, big package of pastel colored tissue paper around Easter.

I also have purchased reward stickers there for my kids and picture frames. Bath puffs, board books, candy, and plastic containers also come from there. We love the dollar store!
