    Website: Path to Freedom

    Path to Freedom

    http://www.pathtofreedom.com/

I thought this was a great website with tons of information and inspiration. Apparently they are transitioning from their old website to this new one so some of their article links aren't active yet, but I'll be sure to keep checking back. Read the About Us section: they had a desire to move to the country and live self-sufficient but when it started to look like it might be forever before they were able to actually do this, they decided to work with what they have: 1/5 of an acre! The pictures of their place are awesome and inspiring! What they are able to grow on that small piece of land and how they are able to live so self-sufficiently is pretty cool IMHO.

    God bless,

    Julie

I second that. It's an interesting site, although they've been "transitioning" for some time now. Smile Lots to learn and dream about there.

Yes, I believe it's been a couple of years that they've been transitioning.  Too bad, as I used to really really enjoy perusing their website, daily blogs and all that.  Certainly something to strive towards, and definitely lots to learn from!!

Thanks so much for the linkee! Wow, what a wonderful and productive garden they have for a city lot. I am trully envious of their gardening skills. They should publish a book, I would buy it. They took sustainability to a whole new level.
