    My Family's Interests,

The company doesn't cover the expenses of the job. The technicians are required to provide tools, truck and other things. They do offer some of the pricier and harder to find items with financing for those who need it.

    That's fantastic Brandy!

Dh has had to use alot of his own tools with this new job....his other workplace always provided tools with the truck. We even had to get a new Carhardt work coat for dh...he has at least 5 Carhardt coats still like new from his other employer, but they all have the company name embroidered acrosss the front and back. Can't use them while working for a different company. Tractor Supply had a 30% off sale so he got the work coat he wanted for $70 instead of $100. He's working beside Lake Michigan doing underground piping for a new condo unit. BRR not exactly sweatshirt weather when it's 4 degrees when he leaves for work in the morning!

    Michelle,

Keep all the receipts for items purchased just for work, you may be able to deduct those.
