I consider this a life and death subject. We must watch out for ourselves and especially children and Seniors. It seems unbelievable but heat can have a devastating effect of people.

I felt called to write about it. We have been having temperatures of 100 degrees or more in the past few days. Our MN population is at risk for not knowing the risk of hot weather. I thought those in other areas might appreciate this information.

Growing up I had a big trampoline. We'd put the sprinkler under it and it was so fun to bounce and have the streams of water coming from under fly up in the air! That was SO FUN.

Hydration is so important. Stay hydrated and nourished!

I found them at Wal-Mart in the crafts area (near the floral arranging stuff), but they're probably cheapest on Amazon. You can get a whole *pound* of them on there for around $8. I used 3 packets of the beads (around 3 oz) and it filled most of a 5 gallon bucket, and that was plenty for the bottom of our little wading pool.

This would also be the kids with their legs and feet stuck in the storage bin where the waterbeads were before I had the bright idea to pour them in the wading pool.
