I remember reading about this sometime ago and thought it was a great idea.

Does anyone still do this?

I don't, but I know friends of mine who were REALLY into it a few years ago.  I'll ask them; if it's still being done, they'd know.

Geocaching is a modern day treasure hunt. Participants hide items and leave information on geocache message boards for other participants to follow to find the item.

DS boy scout troop does it all the time . at Scout Camp in July we do a large one it fun last year we played with it almost all day .

We get to hide a few of the finds  it really fun .  

we done them at when we got to the jubile Scout meeting .

we do have Geochaching  at  Vacation Bible study
