Cleaning naturally and frugally

There are many approaches to staying motivated and organised in the cleaning. Let's hear from our members how they tackle this task and get it done.

I don't really do spring cleaning since I clean every day. I like to tackle things before they become big messes. I know I drive my husband and kids crazy but I can't stand clutter or a messy house. I feel like I am not doing my job as a stay-at-home wife( my kids are grown although son still lives at home) if my house isn't clean. I am a little OCD about it. About twice a month every month I will get the deep cleaning bug and you better get out of my way or grab a rag and join in.

well the suns shines in and the hidden dirt turns up....I do deep cleaning about twice a year. or if I rearrange a room.  I have to be on top of the cleaning and clutter with the kids and pets so it gets ugly fast. 

so when the moods hits or something happens that I will clean under the stove etc.   clean up the yard and dump runs happen spring and fall though.

I agree which is why I do deep cleaning and freshen the house up twice a year. Summer is too hot and winter too wet though I will get cleaning done through the year, it isn't quite the same.
