I was very lucky because Mom baked pies. Her pie crust was awesome. I wish that I could make it as well as she did.

My two favorite pies are pecan pie and lemon chess pie. They are family recipes that are over 100 years old. The pecan pie does not contain Karo Syrup in it.

 My favorite pie is a lemon icebox I think I could eat a whole one by myself. nex to the lemon would be my mother's apple pie she could make the best I've ever eaten but we always had apples from trees at home growing up she made the ones with the top and bottom crust and for a special treat we had vanilla ice cream to go with it. I also like blackberry pie. Everyone in the family loves pecan pie so I make those for other family members sometimes around the holidays I will make enough for my sister and 2 brothers to take home so they can eat on it all week long if they choose to. I used to wouldn't eat pecan pie but I sometimes have a small piece.

mmm a hard one!  lemon pie for sure plus a good apple pie or apple studel!   I like berry pies too and pumpkin.  not a finicky eater lol.   pecan pie is nice but way too sweet for me.

I make a wonderful meat pie . ( that a family recipe , accord to family story its what my great great  Grandmother served to her husband on his return for the war between the states  ( we do not call it the Civil War - there nothing civil about war ) 

Mine are chocolate and sweet potato.

My all time favorite is my mom's cherry pie.  I also like an apple pie I make, and if I can find them, the really good lemon or chocolate cream pies.... but mom's cherry is the one I think of as the ultimate pie.
