I am still very very low on what I have spent this month on groceries and still eating from the pantry and freezer!

I am going to need to restock some things soon but likely that will be farther into October.

totally dejunking as it's potato harvest so hubby and the kids are all home this week. Probably would do some splurging but we've got the flu  on and off. I might even get my MENDING DONE!!!! Wish I knew who lived close as I've got a huge bag(s) to go to the consignment store but I feel almost guilty as I'd prefer to find them good free homes myself :) Also doing an inventory so we can stock up for winter. This time we''re storing everthing on pallets so if we do flood the basement we won't lose any food storage.

    blessings,

Dinner is the Meatloaf I pulled out of the freezer for dinner last night for meatloaf sandwiches. Dh ended up being out and didn't eat it so it is dinner tonight. I had leftover pasta from the night before.I made sandwiches for dh lunch for the rest of the week yesterday.  Kids have colds so no school today. Going to a friends to watch her granddaughter (who has a cold too) while she takes her cat to the vet (tangled with something in the night) and am watching another friends child after school also. So kraft dinner for dinner for them because I'm not quite sure what they eat because they are muslim and  I know no pork or beef.  So pasta is safe. Need to drop off books at the library to avoid fines. Grocery run for milk & bananas and fancy feast on sale .39 a can. Almost out of canned cat food. can get ugly with no canned food lol.  need to put laundry away, vacuum and wash floors. Organize for work tomorrow since the kids are going to the other grandparents instead of my mom Friday.  I have been cleaning out my closet of the shunken shirts that are too short in the body for me.  I put my beading stuff in a set of drawers yesterday and moved the plastic set of drawers the beading stuff had been downstairs to be part of my dd art area. More room in the bedroom now. still decluttering and organizing.

    Stretching a dollar today

all meals from home.  DS and DH took lunch from home to school and work. I'll eat from the freezer.

supper is going to be oven fried chicken wings (I found them in the freezer and can't remember how old they are soooooo we are eating them today.

laundry in cold, vinegar rinse, hung on line to dry.

will do a couple errands on the way to pick up DS from school today.

took inventory of freezer and pantry so that I only purchase what we really need tomorrow at the grocery store.

pulled coupons to go with several items on tomorrows grocery shopping list.

thanks brandy.....just about as good as frugalicous:)  k so frank decided that we were going to walmart instead of to westwood discount but we were still in our 30 budget.........ended up having put gas money in our neighbors van so we went out for dinner for dakotas bday to applebees (spent 50 on dinner plus lunch for 2 days so to us it was worth it) made her cupcakes for school from the box becuase when i made them it was close to 945 pm so i just used the mixes in the pantry.........then ran out of batter and used the yellow cake mix i had instead of spice cake mix.....and only used 1 egg in hte yellow cake mix........plus had enough for a small bday cake for saturday so its good....plus found a biomechanical lego thing for andrews bday woo hoo:)

    have a wonderfrugal day
