We have Aziza at our local dollar store. I tried the mascara and it works fine but you don't expect to get any lengthening with it. Otherwise, this is a good product for a buck.

I stopped wearing mascara except for special occasions because it bugs my eyes same with eyeshadow.  anything around my eyes does now.   I don't need lengthening mascara just use my curler at the very least and maybe mascara for special.

I use some Covergirl items and buy them at the DG, because they are generally cheaper. I used the LA Color as a teenager, and it was OK for a dollar, but their lipsticks and glosses feel kind of grainy. Still, for $1 it's worth a try.

If you'd like some other cheap makeup tips, you can also use Vaseline as a lip balm/gloss, and it's a decent lash-lengthener if you don't like mascara. I've found that this is a good way to save money. A 6 oz tub of Vaseline can last me for years.
