    Hello everyone.  I'm a father of two girls (four and two) writing to you from sunny Los Angeles.  I am very involved in teaching kids about money (I created the DVD, "The Money Mammals: Saving Money Is Fun") and am looking forward to talking with everyone in this community about their trials and tribulations in teaching kids the value of money.

    Dear All, I know that Don Aslett (of cleaning & time-management/clutter control fame) has been workign on a book about teaching children about money ....  Maybe, LA new participant, you could exchange some ideas with him on his website ....

     Hi John, welcome to the community. Your DVD sounds interesting. It's often a problem to pass on values and wisdom to our kids, so I'm sure your advice will be welcome. Jump in anywhere.

    Welcome John!  Always great to have another guy - especially a thrify one - in the house! Living in an urban area like LA must be hard on the wallet, heh?
