We got a good deal at Harris Teeter.  They had turkeys on special for $.59 and there was an extra email special for some free items.  So for $8.31, we got a 14# turkey, a box of Stove Top stuffing, a can of Ocean Spray cranberry sauce and a can of storebrand green beans.

This time of year they have turkeys at amazing low prices. My guess is they're used as loss leaders, to get you in the store. One of the stores around here, called super saver had them for something like 30 cents a pound with an additional 20. dollar purchase.
