Last night I realized that I should get something for dd brownie leaders....maybe something from partylite, jarred cookie mix.  will have to fiqure out something.   thinking of getting the kids to string beads on wire around votive lights and putting them with tea lights from partylite. they have some good deals on them.

Was thinking of getting a used xbox for our student for birthday/xmas but with his grades I don't think so!!!  back to square one.

$100 for gifts on my side of family and our kids, $100 for gifts on dh side. (Bigger family over there) $75 for tree and extra decorations since I am hosting a big family Christmas at my house. Total of 24 people to shop for, 9 of them children. I have all the kids done already with treasures found year round at thrift stores. My two are getting homemade gifts (doll clothes for dd and a large floor pillow for ds) I was going to stuff in with shredded foam, but it is $30 for that-- glad I found out early enough to chop up everything in the rag pile!! dh and I don't exchange gifts at christmas, two less presents to worry about!

Well, I wasn't really going to spend any money on anyone but DD this year, but we are going "home" for xmas and I would just be too embarrassed not to have a little something for everyone.  I have a huge family.  Yesterday, World Market had these nice little soaps 3 for 10.00 and I loaded up on them and then took another 20.00 off with coupon.  Oh my gosh, Verbena, Shea and Lavender, etc.  Yummie soaps that will wrap nicely with real fabric ribbon.

I spent a less than 60.00 and that will be like 25 gifts.  Not too bad.  I plan on giving a soap and a little chocolate to each person.  I usually ship my box of presents (wrapped and ready) to someone at home to hold for me until I get there.

Cheapo, I know, but at least I get to hand everyone a little something from their long lost sister!

$25/person for family. $10/person or less for teachers, friends. Usually $100/person for DH & DD, but probably less this year if DD doesn't ask for much---she only asked for a $10 stuffed toy last year. DH has done a good deed for someone else and we'll forgo gifts to each other this year to pay for that. I only need to buy four more gifts, not including DD. Almost done!

I have $100 to split between my boys. I have been buying all year for my neices and nephews so they are done with a grand total of $25 for all 8 of them. My mom, dad, brother and sister and brother-in-law will be reciving home made gifts that I either craft with materals I have on hand or/and baked goods/candy. My hubbys parents will get a gas card to come see us. Hubby will buy a gift for his brother, I don't have anything to do with that other than set a limit. My sister-in-law will get a candle basket of candles I bought through out the year (spent about $4 total on yard sales or junk stores).

My Christmas club matured this week and I got about $225, so that is the limit.  I should have no problem spending less than that.

    Hi

Trying to keep within my $200-$250 budget this year by giving mainly to nieces, nephews, of course DH, DD, and grandson.
My Mom also has a birthday during December (me, too!), so I need to keep that as a separate budget.
Did most of my Christmas shopping already (bargain hunting, wholesale deals, etc). So thankfully just need to wrap the gifts. Also plan to include home-made baked breads. (like apple/zucchini breads), as part of the gift-giving. Am thinking of packing these breads in a basket filled with flavored teas/ground coffee beans, and brand new coffee mugs, sort of as a holiday breakfast basket type gift.
