    I'm sure, but we may have come from similar backgrounds that influenced that kind of life. My mother and other 2 sisters were expert thrift store shoppers; their money situation was always borderline poverty, often from bread-winner job layoffs or other complications. I was fortunate enough to have a steady income for all of my adult life, but the influence of living second hand still was in the background.  I've done some hauling home of stuff that I probably didn't need to, like a couple dozen vintage and antique sewing machines,  but I sure have had fun playing with them.  Edey
