    Black Friday ads have begun

...not sure where to post this, but some of the BF ads are up already with many more coming yet this week and next.  Google in your favorite site.  There's also a t-shirt (what took 'em so long, lol??) for BF available with profits going to Susan G. Komen foundation.  Liz.

I'm hoping to get dh a cheap lap-top just for home use.  I don't know much about them, so if anyone sees one on special, please post.  I've saved about $300.00 for one...Liz

    BF YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!Big Smile

I dont go out in the cold at 4am anymore....I'm 'puten instead and got ALL the BF items I needed online last year. That's a first.

If you want some of the doorbusters like at Best Buy, then you'll have to line up at noon on Turkey Day. But I'm not that die-hard. Amazon had great BF deals every hour on the hour last year.

You could check slickdeals.net for sales on computers. With that kind of budget, you should be able to get a netbook for your husband.

Thanks for the info, kareqo, I'm passing that and what I'm looking for along to our ds - putting him in charge of the electronic stuff, lol.

I'm embarassed to say I've just gotten on to the Amazon thing - but it was great!  I got the item really cheap, with free shipping and in three days - I couldn't believe it!  So I will definitely be looking at their ads for BF - are there usually enough items in stock?  I'll be checking that idea out!

    And I won't be doing the 4 a.m. thing, either, but maybe a leisurely 8:00 a.m...Liz.

My DH does that -- sits at the computer and scores deal after deal.  We have a TON of DVDs b/c he finds them online for $3 or less (usually $2 for most of them) on BF and scoops them up.  The cheapest rental around here is $3 for 1 night.  It's a deal to buy them this way -- especially with free shipping!!  People see our movie collection and think we've spent some serious $$$ on it, but really DH spends maybe $60 a year and gets about 25 movies.  I don't think he'll buy many this year, but he may buy a few -- maybe $20 worth.  Makes for very inexpensive gift giving, too.

The whole point of turkey is to get to the pie.
