    Save your money!

Hey everyone,  I just wanted to drop a note.  I’ve been sewing and knitting my baby girl clothes lately because I have no money to buy her new ones.  Although it is embarrassing to share this, it has helped me out so much.  In economic times such as these, I think people need to look for ways to save money.  Not only is she happy with her clothes, the actual process of making them has been therapeutic as well. Not to mention how much money I didn't have to worry about spending! Check out my blog and let me know how you’ve been saving money!  I was also able to post some other things to help everyone out, hopefully.   http://artistwarehouse.blogspot.com/  Take care!  Cinhttp://www.stophighcosts.com/?p=192109

I tried this website thinking it would be helpful money saving tips but I must have typed it incorrectly.  It was selling items.  Did I miss something?

    Hi Lee,

The website is not selling things.  They are free offers that I have taken advantage of, or that I thought would be helpful for everyone.  You do need to fill a few things out, but they really aren't a big deal.  I swear by that site because it has stuff that I wouldn't be able to afford otherwise.  Thanks!

You're welcome. I remember making my daughter some clothes when she was little and yes, it is time consuming...I also made a few outfits for my grand daughters. I kind of miss those days...

I haven't taken the time to check out your websites yet.  My comment, in general, is that babies don't need a whole lot of clothing.  They need good basics to keep them warm, dry, fed, clean and cozy.  It's usually the mothers (and grandmothers) that buy the outfits-"Oh, it's so cute"- "Oh, it's so pretty".  Yeah, $$$Cha-Ching $$$!  Garage sales and such, are the best places to indulge your buying-baby-outfits urge.  Babies literally outgrow their clothes, really fast that first year of life. A few little special outfits should get you through.
