    Holiday Issue of a Magazine

The other day I bought the Holiday Issue of Taste of Home. I saw that there was a recipe for making crescent rolls and they could be frozen.

I adore those rolls. This recipe makes 32 rolls and that's a nice size for me to keep in the freezer to heat up.

That's one of my problems cooking for just me. Most bread recipes make too much for me to use up.

I subscribe to TOH - although I doubt I'll receive the special Holiday Issue (I'm sure you have to buy that separately).  I'm interested in which crescent roll recipe that was - can you give the exact name?  I love crescent rolls, and I'm sure making your own would be healthier than buying the canned version.

A lot of times you can get the same recipes on their website (http://www.tasteofhome.com).  I believe some are for magazine subscribers only, but a lot are not.

I got it at Walmart. It's like a cookbook. I'll bring it upstairs when I come back to play with the computer.

Send me a PM with your email address & I'll send the recipe to you to you.

VNW: Is the special issue with the cookie cake on the cover?!!?

If so, in the breakfast section, the French Toast casserole is to die for!! =)

Gayla...I am looking forward to the holidays as well!! Been in the mood to bake a lot lately!!

It is Best Holiday Recipes 320 Christmas Classics 2009 that is $9.99 if you don't buy it at Walmart. I got mine at Walmart last week. There is a cake and a roast turkey on the cover.

I discovered last night that the rolls recipe is on the TOH recipe website. It is Freezer Crescent Rolls by Kristine Buck of Payson, Utah.

I have noticed, though, that many of TOH's recipes have appeared in other issues of TOH.
