    Sprouts grocery store

Does anyone have a Sprouts grocery store near them and can you tell me anything about them.  Ours opened less than a month ago.  Their prices are incredible.

                Watermelons  (whole)  $ .99 each

                Red bell peppers            .77 each

                Yellow and orange         .77 each

                Seedless grapes           .99 lb.

                Yellow squash              .99 lb.

                Red and Yellow

                Vine tomatoes              .69 lb.

                Large Hass

                Avacados                    .33 each

The produce is not only beautifully priced it is beautiful to look at and taste even better.

Wow, those are fantastic prices, especially the avacados. Even the conventional, non-organic ones are almost $2/each here right now. If they have pomegranates for under $2 each, I'm sending you a check to ship me some!!! Wink

Wow, if it was me, I'd buy some of the produce just to try at those prices.  We  have a Mexican grocery here that has good prices like that.

Our Whole Foods have organic pomegranates 2 for $3 for the next two weeks.  You should look into it.

I live in AZ.  I shop at Sprouts, weekly.  The prices on their fruits and vegetables are cheaper than anywhere else.  I love their things, except I didn't like some strawberries that they had put out one week.  Some in the containers, had mold.  It annoyed me that they were on display.  Other than that, I've been very satisfied.

Sometimes they have a good deal on fish, fresh sausages, and low fat ground beef.  I also love the bins of nuts, grains, etc.

Yesterday I went back to sprouts.  On Wednesdays, they have double sale day.  You get last weeks sales and this weeks sales available.

The yellow squash and zucchini were $ .10 a pound cheaper than last week.

    Potatoes were $ .99 for a 5 lb. bag

Spagettii squash was $ .77 per pound

    Apples were $ .49 a lb

Red leaf, green leaf and iceberg lettuces were $ .79 each

Peaches, neactarines, navel oranges, plums and pears were 4 lbs for $5.

Asparagus was 4 lbs for $5 also and it is very good asparagus, it's the tiny spears, not the great big fat ones that tend to be tough.

I love this place not only am I buying healthier foods, I am spending less money because they don't carry a lot of the fluff stuff I usually buy.

     Lexi,

Thanks for the head's up! Unfortunately, the closest Whole Foods is over an hour from me. We hit it for bulk items or odd, hard-to-find non-parishables about once every month and a half, and I'm not scheduled to head that direction in the next few weeks Sad  Our poms here are 2/5, and they've been in fairly bad condition (Martins is the only place locally even carrying them near us right now). I bought two despite their looks, hoping the cover didn't match the book. Unfortunately, they were partly rotten and totally tasteless. Ergh.

Tell the management they need Georgia on their minds ASAP.  I haven't seen 3/$1 avocados in 15 years, even from Mexican vendors at flea markets.
