    Costco sells freeze-dried food

I know there have been several posts on this, but I saw this today and thought I'd share it with the rest of you that may be interested.  Here's a link to page featuring the 1 year supply for 1 person.  It appears to be quite a bit of food and runs about $1K.  They had other packages, too, but I did not check them out.

That is interesting. Shipping and handling included. I've been doing a bit of research on this topic and that is a good start-up combination but there is a lot to know about freeze dried food in terms of how to handle it once its opened and portion control. I recently bought a sample pack to play with. Since I already do some regular dehydrating and purchase some other things locally, I can pick and choose what other items I want to store long term. Thanks for the Link.
