$25 in NSF fee at the bank, I'm sooo mad!!!

    My fault!!!

I have little money and I didn't keep track of my records. as of Monday!!!  A bill that didn't go through yet, the bank even though they haven't posted yet, they don't make funds available and they charge you for not having enough to cover it, even though it hasn't gone through yet!!!! What a rip off!!!

It hurts ,$25 is a lot!!

Carmina, I will get over it.

That's just WRONG. If the check hasn't cleared yet, they haven't taken the money out of your account. Therefore you don't have insufficient funds. I would call the bank and complain to someone with the authority to do something. If they refuse to reverse the charge, make sure they know you're going to complain to the Better Business Bureau (if you have one) and the state Attorney General, and then follow through.

Many of us have done these types of things, Carmina.  Hugs to you!

Sometimes, if you go into the bank in person and talk with the manager, they will excuse the overdraft fee.  It would be worth the effort.

Can you use cash envelopes for expenses such as food, toiletries, household, and gasoline?  This would help you track your money very closely.

I had that happen, too, only my bank charged $66.00 per overdraft. I went right in in person and spoke with an officer. It was taken care of...with no apology.

    I changed banks.

    Fight it. Not fair.

Banks make a fortune off of these "fees".

I would go into the bank and complain, and close my account if they didn't reverse it. Banks will only learn when people take their money elsewhere.

    Good luck!
