    Electric use charts?

    A question from a reader:

Where can I find a breakdown (chart) of estimated power usage/costs for items such as dorm style refrigerators, microwave ovens, coffee makers,etc...?  Or is there an easy formula that I can use to calculate it?

Do you know where she might find one?

Pat - I just typed in the phrase " Electric usage on appliances" in a search engine and it turns out a lot of individual states have a specific website set up for information in their area. I saw some from New Hampshire, Colorado and Wyoming. I wonder if companies like General Electric which makes all kinds of appliances would have one.
