Dear Jeweled Sunshine, Sometimes it can be a hard road to travel, & it is covered with thicket blotting out the sunshine that is your name. When soemthing curative comes along, it is indeed time to sing with David a Psalm of joy! Yours in Him, Deb

Dear All- I ask that you remember my Daddy in your prayers. His 88 year old sister died Thursday the 24th. He is going to be a little lost without her. He has gone to see her every morning for the last 8 or 9 years--especially after she was placed in a nursing home. It was one of our arguments in getting him to move to town that he would be able to see her without such a drive. Daddy is 79 and gets confused so we aren't sure yet how this will impact him. There are just the three youngest of the 9 siblings left now. Auntie was the glue holding them together. Thank you.

Oh! Retired, I was wondering when you said that your Auntie had passed, what her relationships in the family were. I hope & pray that your Daddy will have strength as he comes to understand what has happened. Yours in Him, Deb

Retired, I will be praying for your family.
i would like to add my dh to the prayer list. He had his first physical in 29 years today. The doctor is sending him to a cardiologist and a gastro-int.. Could not get appts. until mid August. My dh is 49 and comes from a long line of heart problems. His mom has said for years he was going to have a heart attack or alzheimers. We don't believe that nor do we accept those words spoken against him. Sometimes though he wonders about it, since his father died from a complication from alz. and had 2 major heart attacks. My ds and dd and I believe he will be fine. We will continue to pray and believe God for the outcome.

I will pray that your Dad is granted peace and that he is showered with our Lord's tender mercy at this time. May you find peace as you help him during this difficult time.
God Bless You

Dear Mary, You have my prayers for your dh! Isn't it maddening how they won't look at maps or go to the doctor's! It's a machismo thing, I believe. Anyhow, I pray that your husband will indeed be fine, AND that he is willing to make any life-style changes that the docs recommend. Yours in Him, Deb
