The weather was glorious on Friday, July 3rd when the nursing home celebrated the 4th of July. Mom was in a good mood.

Today's weather is not as nice and it has been cloudy. Sunday we might have some rain.

I've got library books, party mix ingredients, 2 tvs hooked up to DirecTV, food in the house, Cokes, flavored coffees, a nice house with a/c, and a happy kitty cat. Life is good even though I don't have a SO or a DH.

I'm also lucky because I have caring friends.

I hope that others are having a nice holiday.

I am cooking for a picnic this evening. We plan to sit out and watch the fireworks.
