Jenn, we are lucky to be able to pay the bills we can and I feel grateful and depressed at the same time when I do at the first of the month too!  lol 

Didn't spend any money from my week one envelope yesterday.  (I am trying the envelope system this month)  Its scary, cause I got the loss leaders and so many sales, I could easily blow two weeks if I went shopping like regularly.  But not gonna do it.

I need for sure:  Milk, Butter, SF Popcycles, salad stuff and some fresh fruit and yogurt.  That is my list so far.  I am going to take in the envelope of cash only in the store and stick to the list too.

I ended up eating some left over chicken last night so today will probably grill up the sausages and also some eggplant I have.  I just put 4 eggs in that little chicken to boil up this morning.  I think I have never had the perfect boiled egg until I found that little chicken!  Ok, just beeped and I made DD her breakfast a boiled egg (done to perfection) and a couple slices of tst and jelly and some apple juice.  I am not hungry yet.

DD going to the beach with a friend and I am gonna hang out here and do some work.  Need to shampoo since Gracie got sick.  I wish I didn't have carpet.  Someday!

Not too stretchy since we got home Tuesday afternoon. I am proud of myself for making dinner out of the freezer Tuesday night after being on the road for 2 days. But Wednesday and Thursdays were spend days. Wednesday was breakfast out and grocery shopping at Wal-Mart and Fareway. Got enough groceries to last through next week, so won't be going back to the grocery store today (today is our normal grocery day). Yesterday was chiro, doctor appointment and Costco. No plans to leave the house or spend money today.

The dogs are starting to get comfortable again. They've been pretty freaky since we got them back from the kennel (they always are, but the longer we're gone, the freakier they are). We've been trying to limit the amount of time we're away from the house until they get back to normal.

Paid the credit card bill, including the charges I knew were coming but hadn't yet hit the account. We always put our gas fill-ups on our credit cards when we're traveling, along with the hotel bills, and pay the credit cards off when the bills come in. Also mailed monthly donations to our favorite charities.

Not going to be doing things that I wanted/planned to do.

• Last night I noticed a spot under my skin on my right foot. The foot has been hurting for a couple weeks, not consistantly, but just noticable. No bruise showing or that I could remember injuring it. I talked with a nurse and was advised to stay off my feet until I see a doctor. (Next week, since most of the clinic campus good docs are off today). The foot is slightly swollen but just on the top where I have a lump. (which is under the skin, not noticable, unless touched, and then it's the size of a mosquito bite but rock hard) SO ... not going to be running around like I wanted to or going to the festival... 
• did wash my living room windows (outside)... not a perfect job but looks much better
  
• got meds delivered
• will be doing movies today again
• just will be puttering around the house doing things as the energy bursts that I get appear

DH is off until Monday so we got a rew errands done this morning until he made me very upset so we came home.  I know he works and works hard but he forgets that I am practically housebound and need to get out of the house some.  So when he started fussing about running around town when he didn't want to I just had him come home.  I haven't really talked to him since about 10 a.m.!

We did get BG to the vet.  I just talked to them and she made it thru the surgery fine.  She had 2 encapsalated mammary tumors.  They had thought there was just one but found another when they operated.  She will be staying there until Monday since the incision was so large.  That's the longest we've ever been separated from one of the dogs and the longest one of the dogs has eve been "by itself".

I took my penny jug to the bank and had $52.  I made a deposit for one of my girls while we were there and then paid her furniture payment.That was when DH started fussing so we came home.

I do get to get back out this evening.  We will be taking Daddy out to eat and then going to the secure parking lot at the Police Dept to watch the city's fireworks.  Believe it or not we had to buy tickets to get on the lot!

re-tired

Went in to the walk-in clinic because the thing with my foot was bothering me... after being there for over an hour and having x-rays done (wondering if it was a bone chip that surfaced from my accident in 2000)... the doctor wasn't sure what it was but thought it was just a scarred bruise that is now just surfacing. No big worry. (So now I'll rest easier). I will play tomorrow by ear on going out now.

Then drove to the hair stylist to get my hair trimmed. This was free since I had enough credits.

didn't make a profit today so maybe tomorrow to use up the inventory,blew $8.00

Ended up a really stretchy day.  The envelope system worked for me today, I only spent 48.00 (Under the 60 I was allotted).  I think it will work for me.  Hoping anyway.

Grilled some eggplant and some sausages and made a can of green beans for DD.  Kids don't like eggplant much.

Not doing anything, just hanging. 

It was nice to get home from the store having paid cash, I didn't have to take more out of checkbook!
