Hello my name is Debra Rincon from Portland Oregon. I am happy to be here, we all need help and tips. I am a mother of 5. 4boys and 1 daughter. All over 18 except for my baby who is 15 yrs. now. I have been having trouble with ants in my house. I just moved here in this 3 bedroom Townhouse 3 months ago. There is such a large amount of ants behind my patio. On my patio, around my patio, everywhere outside of my backdoor. I tried the cinnamon, it worked really really good for the first 2 months. Now they are immune to it or something? I have tried baking soda and that worked for a while.  Then I tried soapy water and that worked for a while.  Now  I am so frustrated I am spraying bleach, with water mixed. It has worked the best so far, I let it dry and they stay away for days and days!  Good huh. not? I found that after it drys for a couple of days, they don't care and they will cross the barrier? I just have to keep spraying over and over, and it's smell is giving me a headache and the doing it over and over is too??? Can anyone tell me of way longer solution to my problem???SIGNED A MOTHER IN NEED OF AN ANT PROBLEM IN OREGON!!!

I've done vinegar with a couple drops of dish detergent in it ... that will keep them out of my place (living room where I sit and eat).
