It's been awhile but I'm spending more time online and things are getting tight again so I've decided to come back to where I know people are in the same boat!
About me (for those who don't know me):
Single, no kids, 34 y/o woman who finds ways of struggling daily with fibromyalgia (FMS) and chronic fatigue (CFS) and IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). I live in a condo which I 'rent' from my parents. Currently not employed and fighting Uncle Sam on the fact that I am disabled. Elderly parents are supporting me right now... only support outside of them is Food Stamps ($200/mo; which some I donate to a family to help them out) and during the winter, Energy Assistance (paying for gas/electric).
I do cook when I can, otherwise rely on convenience foods (Lean Cuisine is often found in my freezer). I rarely use my big oven. My microwave and my toaster oven are my friends. I hang up my clothes on lines and racks in my basement (linens are in the drier; and washed in hot water). (Currently looking for a freebie dehumidifier so I can eliminate some of my running the AC this summer). I'm a freecycler. Not ashamed of doing some digging in garbage areas, just as long as it's not too icky. I run out of my car at times and pick up stray aluminum cans. (Most often in parking lots).
Doing some traveling this summer, just to see family. Going to experience camping (somewhat modern) in August... I can't wait!
Oh, I respond to Luv, Luv Lioness, and LL on here!
