    I agree gardengirl  - precooking sure saves time.  I like to have the ground beef available as well.  I use Mary Hunts Wackadoodle beef method where I boil it first.  If I freeze poultry, covering it in broth makes a huge difference in the flavor and texture once it is thawed.  I liked the tip about seeing what is available in the covenience food section to decide what recipes freeze well.
