    Alphacraze rip off!

My daughter ordered a CD on May 31st from www.alphacraze.com.  $14.37 debited out of my daughter's account on 06/04/07. Never received product. Requested status on 07/01/07. Received reply from them stating that it 'should' have shipped, but that they would honor whatever I wanted. as this was a present for a friend, we purchased locally and asked Alphacraze for a refund on 07/04/07. On 07/06m received reply stating that they had initiated a refund that requires 4-7 business days to receive. On 7/18, I requested that they reopen the case as my daughter still had not received a refund. On 7/19, Kelley stated they would research the matter immediately and initiate another refund if one had not already been issued and asked that I contact them again if I had not received by 7/27. Today is August 6, 2007 and have not received product OR refund.  Opened a case with the BBB last week.  Beware of this company!

You may be helped, sanderson, in writing a complaint to the company, by using the 5 W's & 3 R's about which there is an article in today's DOLLAR STRETCHER ....  This may be water under the bridge,t hough, since you have already initiated your BBB complaint....  But, for next time ....

I've never done business with this site, but did she order from Amazon or an individual seller? It's like half.com, where many people are selling the same product and you get to choose a seller, or if Amazon has it, it comes from there first.

That may be why you're getting the runaround Confused

Is this the one you're referring to, Deb?

I thought it was a really good article. I'm glad people are posting their complaints and problems here, but taking it from there to finding a solution for it makes good frugal sense.

    Re: Alphacraze rip off!

This is soooo crazy because I was going through some old emails and realized I had ordered a book from this website around the same time in May. I never received it and i was starting to think that someone from the office might had clipped it from the mail room until I tried to go to the website and it is gone. I mean it is only $16.00 bucks granted but I actually was led from AMAZON to this site. And to think how many people they scammed like this!! Should i report it the BBB as well? Its been a couple of months but still it really isnt right. Plus, I really wanted the book. Now, i have to try and put my confidence in another site and may get scammed again!! The best way to purchase products is definitely the old fashion way.........Go out n get it yourself!!!
