Cooking From Scratch: EASY Granola and Granola Bars

I found two recipes this past weekend that are quick and easy and use ingredients that most people have in their homes already.  One is a Peanut Butter Granola found here at http://www.lynnskitchenadventures.com/2010/10/peanut-butter-granola.html and the other is a Granola Bar recipe found here at http://www.lynnskitchenadventures.com/2010/03/homemade-granola-bars.html?printthis=1&printsect=1.  My youngest daughter is not a fan of hot cereal, so these are good alternatives for a breakfast on the run, besides toast, muffins, etc. that I freeze and pull out that morning.  I spent less than an hour making both of these.

With the price of granola in the store, I would definitely try this if you like granola.  It is easy, inexpensive and tastes good.  My oldest daughter likes to eat it with her homemade yogurt in the mornings before school.

Do you have some good granola or granola bar recipes?  We would love to try them!
