The School Room: Education at Home

A blog about one family's adventure in homeschooling on a budget

Free Thanksgiving Stories

There is nothing more frugal than free. In October I found resources for printable Holloween activities that brought some festive fun to our homeschool. I decided to make this week a Thanksgiving theme to enrich the holiday and our learning.

I found an excerpt from a book that I plan to read with the children for some warm family time on Thanksgiving day. I also found a printable reader to use with our Thanksgiving studies this week.

We are looking forward to our week of studies on the settling of America and the reason for Thanksgiving.

If you would like to add some free stories to your homeschooling this week, check these out.
