A blog about one family's adventure in homeschooling on a budget

  • Homeschool Planner and Organizer Resources

In my blog post on using the old fashioned methods of pen and paper for creating a homeschool journal, I mentioned I had sampled a variety of commercial products and printable forms. I'd like to share my findings for those who would prefer to use these conventional methods.

Keepers at Home Organizer-  I have this fantastic planner myself. It is an organizer for those of us who instead of going to an office and running a high powered business day need a planner to keep track of meal planning, shopping lists, gardening, the children's activities and more. The creator of this organizer really understands the woman at home. There is a set of pages just for the homeschooler which is designed for lesson planning, recording educational goals and other homeschool specific things.

The HomeSchool Mom - This site offers printable pages for you to create your own planner. There are also forms related to the home if you are interested in putting together a whole home organizer yourself.

Donna Young - When I need some ideas or a few printables to work with, I always check Donna Young's site. She offers some of the best ideas and forms out there.

Highland Heritage- For a wide variety of forms, no one offers as much as Highland Heritage.

Homeschool Tracker - This is a computer program that makes keeping track of all your information easy. The basic edition is free to download so you can use this without cost or sample the basics before paying for the extras.
